Oscar the Wonderwienerdog's the same way - the gardeners have let him out more than once, he just sleeps on the porch.
He really appreciates Halloween, the one night a year all the neighborhood kids come over to visit HIM
well, if this guy just visited people and came back, thwat would be one thing. he runs for the hills!
pepe', our other dog goes out front, visits people, pees on all of the trees, and opens the screen door to come back in on his own.. no problemo.
I had a dog that was a runner
pain in the petuty
I like dogs that just go out and mess a little then come back in
Bob, the offending runner, liked to take off for several hours at a time
Barker knows where the freezer with the steaks are, he figures his entire duty in life is to guard the said freezer
Not a matter of compensation....just a simple matter of
A: Being able to keep up on the trail (dog isn't allowed in the jeep on trails except for "bumpy dirt roads").
B: Big enough to survive being stepped on in the middle of the night when the SOB sleeps between the bed and bathroom door.
Erik, the electronic fences are great. I refer to mine as "the happy fence"....because it makes me so damn happy that I no longer come home to a living room full of plants that the little bastard dug up, pulled through the dog-door, and ate in the livingroom.
(serisoulsy....little f'er was pissing me off!!!!)
olllllllo <--- If you can read that, roll me over!
OMG! I think he is soooo cute! looks like a cool little dog. I have a Papillion, he weighs all of six pounds when he's full! He is 14 years old now. I sure love him, he has a great personality!

by the way, what is your name?
Couldn't help but share this. This dog lives, eats and breathes to play ball. Nothing else matters when trying to retreive ball.
This is not a water dog, which makes it so funny. The dog refused to move from where it was clinging to the bucket. We had to retreive the dog from the pond.
