          The pics will probably make the rounds eventually (I dont' have any, because I was driving...err...'piloting' the jeep). The video is being used in a commercial production. The story (of the event I was helping run...not just the story of my stupid red-neck trick) will probably be in Off Road magazine so the writer is keeping tight control of the pics.

          I just need someone to straiten my damn axle!

            Was this on the recent Payson run? I was invited but my junk had no axles

            I know some shops here in the Phoenix area but not sure what location you're in
            as your QRZ record must be out of date (says you're in CA).

              I'm in Tucson. The trip was not the one you missed. I was at the 2006 Expedition Trophy (not updated with the '06 results/photos yet). I was doing the demo for the competitors on the rally course...

                            I do not recommend that to anyone. But I do recommend pre-running closed courses (or at least letting someone else run it, so you get a better idea of just how steep that little hill *really* is) like this before you are "on the clock" to avoid any surprizes....like the one I had.
