  • Anybody Looking for a Project Vehicle?

As you know, I'm a big fan of the Salvage yards. Well, going through a part that I hadn't been in for a while I discovered this jewel... it's so tempting to try to restore it. I think the FJ post earlier today gave me a bug. But I still have a CJ to work on. The frame looks solid and the body only has some minor dings in it. It does need a new piece fabbed up to cover the doghouse.

    Just for fun.

Really? I'd never heard of one before I saw this. I loved the original distributor and that funky looking fuel pump. I'm gonna ask the guy what he wants for it today. I bet it's waaaay too much, but asking is free.

I'm with you...I'd never heard of or seen one of those before either. Pretty cool though! :thumbs_up

That Yellow & black one is SWEET! Looks like an African Safari Vehicle or something. It's got a dual stick T-case in it already... no idea on axles or gearing etc... maybe kinda fun to just kick this around for a while.

they still make these but you can't buy them in the USA. it's basically about the size of a 4-runner, looks like an early 90's land cruiser crossed with a mitsubishi montero, and has solid front and rear axles. i didn't know it started life as one of these.
              03 TJ. It'll go 65mph...can't complain.

I say offer him $500, clean it up, get it to run, and off the thing for $1500 to some nissan patrol nut.
