I used to be stationed at San Diego as well as Mare Island...back in the 80's nuclear submarined...How about you?

When I was there this last summer I flopped it on the top and lost all my tranny fluid..The next day we were out playing at back door and I could not get up due to lack of tranny fluid I kept stalling and rolling back. Tried to back up but juct couldn't make it.. need to get back out and try again!

I am aviation here at Lemoore.
We are about 3 hours from anything, including Hell!

I was stationed at Alameda years ago, and lived on Treasure Island in the Bay. Loved it there. But the cost of living there was pretty high for the times.

Been through San Dog many times. Was stationed there in the 80's for school.

Nice to see some military and ex military members here.
Did you retire, or get out and move on to bigger and better things.

I spent 6 years in from 1984 until 1990 as a nuclear ELT. Best education a guy could get...I now am the chemistry supv at a comercial nuclear reactor. I work with about 300 x Navy nukes so I'm still in nthe game if ya know what I mean.
