We are getting snow as of early this evening...if anybody is planning to come up during this holiday weekend, make sure you have chains in your vehicle. They have the checkpoints established already. Also the dam is still closed and will be for awhile due to a fuel spill a few days ago.

Oddly enough, the weather prediction for here is SNOW! Or rain possibly turning into snow. Those not native to 29 are shocked when the white stuff hits. I'm not "native" but being here for 12 years earns me some credentials doesn't it?

They have predict snow for Yucca Valley too. Havent seen any yet which is good. If we had a down fall like last time and no front ds in the Jeep, Id be pissed!

Check it out! maybe 3 miles from Mexico about 3500 to 4000ft this shot smokes! This shot flys over Borrego, the mountain in the back ground buts up against Palm Springs! To the right is where TDS is held.
