There's been some talk around the watering hole about starting a local offroad club among friends. Really it's just an excuse to make up t-shirts and bumper stickers, but I want a website to goof around with, too.

Any advice on hosting companies? Domain registration? Anything else I'm unaware of?

For domain registration go to GoDaddy.com - $9.20/year!
For hosting, I can only refer you to the expensive ones but I'm sure that others can chime in on that.
