American Express® Gift Cards Suck

They're not really up-front about it, but the truth of the matter is that they're not accepted anywhere American Express® is. So if you're thinking of getting one for someone this holiday season, cash would be much easier on their patience level. Just thought I'd share.

I got one for my brother for Christmas –!he said it didn't work at OSH and some gas stations, I can't remember where else right now, but it did work at Sears and AutoZone ... he said it was kind of embarassing because you use it like a credit card, and it basically just gets declined if they won't take it.

We get Visa Gift Cards for a Safety bonus at work. The problem with the cards are the cashier runs the card through as Debit and not credit.

At gas stations you have to go in side and have the cashier run the card as credit for a amount equil or less than the valve of the card.

www.onegreatgiftcard.com allows us to track how much cash is lift on the card.

It takes a little getting use to but I think Their great.

Wal-Mart gift (online) card sucks also because they don't offer the same products online as they do in the stores!! I'm having a hard time deciding what I want!
