    So a friend of mine sold his ZJ (the guy who crunch his fender at Calico) and bought a 1956 404 UniMog. I went over this weekend to check it out. We took it for a little spin and its pretty amazing what it can do in completely stock form.

    I have a friend that has one too.They are pretty cool but if you don't have one with about 20 gears they can be a slow uncomfortable ride.I think his only tops out at 50-55mph.he is looking atb some of the newer ones over in Germany,to replace his with.there is not much that will stop one.
    95 GC 4.5 RE,adjustable UCA/LCA,32's,456's,tru-trac up front,trac-lock rear,and other goodies

      Is it me or do they seem they would do horrible on off-camber stuff.
      They just seem so skinny and top heavy (great for a chick, bad for a 4x4)

        I thought so too but it seem the weight of the axles really keeps things planted. Of course I have not seen one in really bad off-camber but what I have seen impressed me.
