    My question is who makes these jacks, are they made by some lil old man out the boonies busting them out of the same mold and then slapping different tags on them as they get distributed or what. I got mine from pep boys, called a farm jack or something, but noticed very little difference betwwen it and a hi lift.

      Seems like the last 10 yrs or so of Hi-Lift aren't built as well as the old ones. The one on the front of the YJ I bought used at a swap meet in '73, still does the job.

      Dangerous? No tool is dangerous, just unforgiving of unknowlegable operators who don't understand or respect them
