    Nice....but what's wrong with it?

You don't often hear of people trading buggies for jeeps.
olllllllo <--- If you can read that, roll me over!

Price is soon forgotton, quality is not.

He says it's a turn key buggy. He is building a single seat buggy and wants to trade for a nicely built TJ for his son. I want to move to a different platform for wheeling, and this would work out better for me money and time wise. Only thing is that I have to pick it up in Georgia.

It is definately a better rig if you are looking to step up.....just seems like the "price" is low...but hey, if he wants to trade it for a jeep, jump on it. That is a hell of a deal if it as he says it is. Personally, I am about to get rid of my jeep too. It is too nice to tear it up on the hard stuff.

Chris, isn't this going to limit you to pretty much just Johnson Valley?

(may not be an issue for you)

Jeff, JV is all I have been doing for the past 2 years. I would still be able to tow it to moab or the rubi. I was planning on going with coils or air shocks, fuel cell, stretch job, cut the tub etc. anyway. This trade will put me closer to what I want to build, without the huge expence, time, money, time, etc.

Sounds like this will work out for you well then. Just wanted to point out that there's pretty limited pickings for green sticker (assuming it will green sticker) in the SBNF
