    does anyone know the difference between a XML and an MP3 format or how/ if you can change between the 2

    XML is a text format, MP3 is an audio format. Last I checked, you can't convert text to audio.

    What does it have to do with the iPod shuffle?

      my girl firend's mom got one of those shuffles and i put a ton of songs on but i cant get them to play and i thought it was because it wasnt in the right format but i cant figure it out

          Also, once they are in your music library...you still need to download them into your IPOD...

            thanx for the help... it turns out that she had a friend put some songs on it but you have to format the ipod before you can do that and she didnt so thanx for the help
