I just read in Sunset Magazine that 85 California beach locations have launched a wireless program for $8 a day. Has anyone tried it out yet, or heard about it?

probably depends, but i would guess they wouldn't install old technologies like 802.11B ... who knows it is CALI though. maybe we should have a workday at the beach! hehe

I thought you where supposed to go to the beach to get away from work.
Not take it there with you.

Sand and laptops are not a good mix either.
