leaving the beach and heading for (almost) the 909/Land of the Dirt People/Inland Empire. we're moving to Temecula, about 10 minutes from Tammy & Chris... i'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing
actually its 951 . . . and I dont know if its a good thing or bad thing either.
BUT! I do have a big welder, plasma cutter, tube bender, shop press, drill presses, clamps, vise, butt plug, BIG air commpressor, band saw, etc . . . you get the picture!
Living that close to Dukes would get my pocket book in severe trouble, plus he would have to call it Rock It Man Fab aka Jims Jeep Custom Modifacatiom as most of the stuff he would be doing would be my hairbrained ideas, I believe we have already started talking designing a modular rack design that can be trown on and taken off quickly so that you could haul stuff to camp and take it off in a couple of minutes to go wheeling.
Anyway welcome to the 951, that makes the MJR pool party on in June even closer as now you will only be 30 minutes away.
Homebrew Anyone?
Looks like roripaugh hills (sp)
I live in Chardonnay hills.. welcome to the neighborhood.
edit...
looks like you have a gearhead neighbor with a sweet old mustang too...
indeed it is roripaugh i think we got a good location not too far from "the mall", home depot, costco, trader joe's, etc. of course, being 10 minutes from chris' butt plug... err... air compressor and tubing bender is what 'clinched' the deal
i don't know if you made it to the i'll drink to that run, but i finally got to put my cargo box to good use- i recycled an old pickup truck box by fabbing up a frame that mounts into the hitch and bolting the box to it, added some taillights and it's good to go. worked as well as i hoped it would.
