Just thought I'd share some jeepin fun that I've had the last few days.
I've been helping a fellow jeeper from JF do his OME 2.5" lift, BL and MML the last three days....let me tell ya, 27k miles and had to cut the front shocks off due to the top nuts being rusted.
Day 1...got the rear susp. lift complete.
Day 2...got the front squared away, BL on and part of the MML
without much sleep you start to loose logic thinking
Day 3...Finished MML in about 45 minutes after I informed about the driver side mount....lets just say, I'm an idiot and didn't even think about the easiest, most obvious way to get the MM bolt out on the driverside.
I went to his house after work each of these days...Day 1 10am-1pm
Day 2 10am-7:15pm (went home got 2 hours sleep, went to work ) Day 3 8:45am-10:30 with lots of BSin goin on and makin fun of myself for not seeing the obvious easy route (all this with 2 hours sleep)
Moral of the story, I made a new friend and it didn't cost him a thing except for the $$ he insisted I take for doing all this work for him. WOOHOO, I now have a new wheeling friend and I get to see first hand how my work holds up on a jeep other than mine...Boy this is kinda long, I even helped MJR out by telling him about the site and also might have helped Rock-it Man get a few sales, possible front bumper, rear w/swingout and some Raingler stuff. I'm now going to bed, enjoy your day guys abd gals
