We put our condo on the market Aug 1st. We went into escrow Aug 5th. We listed the condo for 279K-309K. We went into escrow for 300K. We bought the condo in '02 for 189K. After commission, closing and early payment penalty we'll be pulling down 90K. Yay!
Yesterday we finished all the repairs and accepted contingencies. That was the point of no return for the sale, in order for the buyer to bail now he's gotta forfeit his deposit and 3% of the purchase price = ~12K total. I'm so excited. Now we wait until Sep 14 so we don't have to pay capital gains tax.

After everything is said and done we'll pay off all our debt and use the rest for a down payment on our next home in WA state. I wanted to buy all kinds of toys, but the wife said no. I'm still gonna get a Jeep P/U, though. Yay me!
