Chris is at the Bonneville Salt Flats for Speed Week this week again...
They have three cars out there trying to break land speed records in several categories.
Here is one of the cars:
Today they posted an amazing 289 mph in the Streamliner...the car is impounded till tomorrow, when they have to do the run again...and the times are averaged...(edited) They are hoping to run in excess of 300mph tomorrow...The old record was 255

They also posted another record of 218 (I think)...the car is also in impound till tomorrow...when they have to do it again for it to be official.
