big bear fun

Goin up to big bear xmas week for a day maybe two to play in snow (wheelin) .anybody have a favorite place to spend the night and dry out then head home next day .

If you have a AAA card, go on priceline.com or travelocity and use it to get discounts. Saved me 20 bucks a night when I went up there a number of months ago. I stayed at the travelodge on the south side before town. I liked how the parking was a bit more secure. Rooms are whatever...... Weather was at the teeter totter between camping or hotel.. I wasn't gonna freeze so I did the room. I wouldn't do any rock gardens in the snow. Easy way to bust an oil pan/tie rod/or ds.
