  • A little "oopsie" on Black Bear Pass

    that's one trail I wouldn't want any type of oopsie on! haha

    Looks like he's still hugging the wall pretty good, did part of the trail fall out? hard to tell from the photo

        What that picture isn't showing is how far down that thing would have went. It's a long way. HOLY $#!t are they lucky.

          kinda like going up the ledge near the end of Doran, but for many miles, and with a HUGE drop off, eh? haha No thanks

              Lucky people. I 'm not sure I like the look of that boulder they have the strap around. That area has a reputation for falling boulders.

                          That's the Bridal Veil Power House; it is situated at the top of Bridal Veil Falls and it was built to provide electric power for the mines in the area. The Black Bear Pass Trail is one-way from Hwy 550, over Black Bear Pass to the Powerhouse, then it is two-way the rest of the way to Telluride.
