  • Garage Who does it be long to?

The wife tells me that the garage is part hers because its part of the house. So therefore she can store stuff in it. So with this logic why can't I use the oven to preheat my bearings and the feezer to chill the carrier and pinion? :cocktail: :shade:

Well, the first time you throw sparks on her delicate belongings, she might change her mind.

At my place, the garage is mine and EVERYTHING else is hers

I strongly object to the garage being used as a "storage" space ... as far as I'm concerned, that's what the extra room, the living room, the closests, the attic, and most of the bedroom is for.

Oh and it's not a bad idea to cover the carpets from the garage to the kitchen with clear plastic as it will get a lot of foot traffic.

She can store stuff in the garage. But she must accept the FACT that it will all be moved outside into the rain and snow if you need to make room for a project. Weld splatter, and grind dust are also to ba accepted as a fact of life. If she doesn't like this, then she must properly protect her belongings. The preferred method is keeping the the heck out of the garage!

Oh, she must also realize that anything in the garage can and will be used as a impromptu RTI ramp in case you need to check clearances.....

Garage is all mine though i do allow the wife to store some of her stuff in the rafters, mostly season stuff (x-mas, halloween..etc).

I am also the proud owner of the back yard and all dog matter associated with said yard.

Who's is it? Well let's see, there's a double stainless sink with a dishwasher, two refrigerators, a brewery (see other threads), about 10 bikes (kids included) BUT do I get to park in it? No! It is my getaway though but since I'm the only male in the house I'd better share, unless I want to be banned from the rest of the house. There isn't a bathroom out there, yet.
