  • Drywall Contractor needed

I need to scrape the ceilings in my house before I move in and I'd like to move in next weekend, which gives me about 7 days to find someone to take care of it for me.

any reliable available contractor needing some work I have some here for you.
    possible other stuff too.

    Let me know

    Thanks MJR

Are you removing that wonderful spray on texture coating? My favorite. I just rented a wall paper steamer from HD and did it myself. What a freakin mess. But it only took two days to do all the ceilings in a 1400 sq ft two story townhouse. That includes clean up. Wish I new someone to send your way but...

Depending on how old the house is, it may contain asbestos. No contractor except an asbestos abatement contractor will touch it without a completed asbestos survey.

Post a picture of the texture (close up)
Some of the old school stuff is like stucco and needs to be floated rather than scraped.
You might consider picking someone up at Dunn Edwards or other "Paint Specific" store.
