If you don't know this yet, Venus is transiting the Sun as we speak. This event happens once in a lifetime, so grab a welding lens or build a pin hole viewer and get out to see it. It will be visible in SoCal until around 6PM our time. Look for a tiny black dot toward the top quadrant of the Sun. It's pretty small but very visible with the right equipment.

A coworker bought in a small telescope with a solar lens so we were able to get a better look. Very cool!If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?
