Been there, done that. Just remember that when you invoke that right, the cop will see you as being uncooperative and treat you as such. It ain't fun if he has a chip on his shoulder. And I'd bet $$$ that most cops don't know what all your rights are anyway. So refuse the voluntary search but expect the consequences.

Of course Kurt brings out a good point. You may be labeled as hostile or uncooperative, so ensure you have some time to spare I guess.[/COLOR]
