Well, it surely does not replace the Desert Jewel, but I don't think anything would be able to, however it does allow me to go play in the dunes and on the trails....
I scored on this bad boy! Yamaha/Honda of Redlands had three 2008 Yamaha YFZ 450's still on their showroom floor and were selling them at half the price of the 2012's. I was looking for a bike with a candy apple red frame to match my helmet & gear from my Banshee days before the DJ and I got it! It is brand spanken new even tho it is an 08.
Rented a truck last Saturday, picked her up and headed straight to Glamis. She definitely is a race bike with way more power than I need, but extremely fun!!
So, if any of you are going to the dunes or other riding on ATV's, let me know....
