  • Color Big Bear Backcountry Roads and Trails map

I don't know if you guys know this, but I stopped in to Honda of Redlands on my trip to visit my old riding buddies, Tony the owner and Greg the sales manager, and they have a color Big Bear Backcountry Roads and Trails map. It's free and put out by the So Cal Jeep dealers. Greg has a lifted Jeep and runs the trails, the maps are on his desk. This is the website address; Backcountry4X4.com

Thanks Andy. There is some good info for the trail runners. Too bad they are based on the new "sanitized" topos that now lack any mine features and also the dozens of trails that go them. Use the guide, then go explore and have some real fun!

its pretty dang nice and i like how the names are next to the 3n/2n numbers. having "the wash" on it and the now unoffical pontiace sluice is kinda odd. there are even a few unoffical spurs on it such as the holly anne mine below pontiac.
