I have been to quite a few this year. My portfolio is taking shape, and I'm getting a bit of recognition from some of the larger publicists now. It is a difficult game to get into.

You should definitely try to get out to a GWAR show and take some pics . . . those guys are a trip with all the costumes, props, etc . . . would definitely make for some cool pics and something a way out there for your portfolio!

I caught their 30 year anniversary show last weekend at the House of Blues. One of my favorite bands of all time. They rocked . . . it's amazing for them to be up there performing like they do after so many years (not to mention, at their age). Was a great show.

Friday night at the Hollywood HOB . . . Youth Brigade. I would have really liked to see the Vandals too. I've seen BR quite a few times over the last 15 years or so!!! Damn I'm getting old.

I love all 3 of those bands. The BR/Youth Brigade show was the one I really wanted to see. I bet it was a killer show.
