After the Northridge quake, the mountains by my house looked just like that for a week or two . . . you'd keep hearing things sliding down the hill. We were only about a 1/4 mile from the mountain, so everything was covered in dirt, and the hills that were covered in shrubs and things, were completely barren by the end and all the vegetation was piled up at the bottom of the mountain.
That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.

          Cool pictures.

We did not feel it in Lemoore/Hanford, but it did rock water out of our pool.
We are over 400 miles from the quake.

There are some great videos here: http://www.dirtnewz.com/ showing the damage near the Epi-center.
            Some crazy stuff.

No, I'm just sending in links and pictures as they are sent to me. I still have a lot of friends and business relations in Mexicali.

Funny the water has just been oozing out of the desert in many areas along where the quakes are happening.

Felt it in orange county I describe it like on a boat it was a wierd slow roll i'm used to a shorter quicker motion..That's a different type of quake than I'm used too but to feel it this far yeah I believe a 7.2 and I heard it was centered in mexico? That's a lot of dirt shaking from mexico to northern orange county

Well something got to be going on in that quake area, it stretches right up to 8. Perhaps a volcano? Maybe the Yuha wells are flooding over or there must be a tasty v notch created by earth movement.
Pic taken on top of where a 5 happened. No nothing here.

Over 500 quakes in this area...nothing...

                      Yuha wells....dry

Yuha still a bore to wheel in.....
                      Lets go fishing
