Working on a job in Big Bear. Today one of the city guys took me to see trout spawning. They swim up the streams flowing into the lake. I had no idea they did that.

Were they steelhead by any chance? Those are rainbows that go into the ocean and become steelheads. They swim back up the rivers to spawn.
