    petition for Bed and Breakfast in Calico, please sign

    Here is the link for the petition to San Bernardino County to allow a Bed and Breakfast to open in Calico Ghost Town. We are looking for as many signatures as possible and you don't have to be a resident of S.B to sign it. We are hoping that through this petition, the county will make a decision not to demo the dome house and accept our proposal to finish construction of the house for the purpose of a 4 room bed and breakfast. If you have any questions feel free to email us through MJR or rockcrawlingkirk@live.com. Please help us out by telling friends and family of this petition by sending them the link.

          I signed it.

          Some things you should expect to happen if you are successful:

          Paved road access
          Paved parking lot
          Handicap parking
          Handicap Access
          Handicap restroom(s)
          Heath Dept approved kitchen
          Fire sprinklers or a large water tank with FD connection

          For starters....
          SBCO Fire Dept. CERT volunteer
          MJR moderator
          MJR Adopt-a-Trail Crew member
          Jeep Patrol Leader
          Reforestation Supervisor
          Licensed Ham - n6ujm
          Eagle Scout

                Thank you for your input. We have considered those items and many more. Fortunately for us, we do not have to install a handicap elevator for top floor. Because it's only slated to be a 4 room B&B, it has completely different codes for ADA, Health, and Fire than a motel or a B&B with 5 plus rooms. It will accomodate the handicap guest and will be up to code for Fire authorities. Kitchen codes arent as severe as say a resturant, but are inspected regularly.

                      Ok guys, I have started a new petition. It seems that through the maint. of the site yesterday, this petition was deleted from Ipetitions.com. I appologize for the inconvience of those that have already taken time to sign it.
