My family and I went to enjoy Bishop for a weekend. I use to be up in the Sierra's about every other weekend until I had kids! So far, my 3rd trip here this year, and several more planned.
Saturday we hiked above Lake Sabrina.
From the dam of Lake Sabrina
Water levels are WAY low!
Sunday my wife and I drove out to the Petroglyphs just north of Bishop.
After the second stop out to check out the petroglyphs, my wife said she got goosebumps, and felt like "they" didn't want us there. So, as we got back on the highway to go back to the hotel, boom, the tire of our Exploder blows. Taught my wife to change a tire in 102 degree weather! Later that night, my wife breaks out in a bad rash. Monday morning, I had to take her to the hospital (up in Bishop), because the rash was literally head to toe. Dr. gives her some shots and sends us on our way. On the way home, my wife says, "I am NEVER going to any Petroglph sites again!!"
