well the politicians are 'spinning' this by saying that the people don't want to be 'bothered' by special elections anymore. They sound like they are using the low turn out as a reason to not ask us our opinion anymore. Instead of getting the message I think they are going to try to do more 'behind closed doors' deals and crap and leave us outta the loop. They certainly don't have any problem breaking the law, since they have never balanced the budget...
