Thank you for contacting me to express your support for the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. I appreciate hearing from you.

You will be pleased to know that you and I agree on the issue of gun control. I have always believed that we are better advised to try to solve our crime and drug problems directly and not by banning guns. I have and will continue to support law enforcement and the right to bear arms and I remain opposed to legislation that will restrict the rights of law abiding citizens. Please be assured that I will be keeping your thoughts in mind when voting on legislation.
