After we had to put Sarah, our eldest dog, down right before Christmas, Ive been ready for a new pup.
Ive been perusing the internet high and low for a Miniature Australian Shepard puppy just like Zoe. What I found was that they are indeed hard to find. There seem to be alot in No. Cal and out of state, but not so many down here. And when you find one...watch out...upwards to a $1000 or more!
I saw an ad for pups in Yucca Valley, but no pictures. And on top of that, they werent returning phone calls or emails. I took a chance and called while we were passing through on our way home from King of the Hammers. She was actually there!
Anyway, long story short, we found a puppy. We actually let Zoe choose her, as she has to put up with her. One puppy (out of the two litters there)took an instant liking to Zoe, and Zoe to her. She was a bit smaller then Id have chosen, but her personality more then makes up for her size.
Shell be a bit smaller then Zoe full grown.
We havent named her yet...anyone have any good ideas?
