Isn't that nice -- Obama is telling me who he is giving my money to because I "have a right to know"?

Now, if the money that Obama is confiscating from my family were really "my money," it would be at work paying our mortgage and my kids' tuitions, paying small contractors for improvements to our home, growing our small publishing business, funding salary increases for my employees to the benefit of their families. Heck, I might even replace my 10-year-old SUV with another GM product.

Hell yea! Why should BHO use my money to help those who made mistakes with their money! I mean I didn't twist their arm and force them to take a jacked up mortgage or to buy way to much house they could afford! Now, I get to get punished and I face the chance of losing my home because I gotta help bail these poor suckers out that got in over their heads! Who's gonna help me while all my money is being spent by the government to help these morons and my house goes into foreclosure! Quit being so generous with "MY MONEY" and give it back to me, let me prosper!

And the really sad thing is that they are not done with us. Wait til we see what the Greens have in store for us with respect to GLOBAL WEATHER CHANGE, MORE wilderness areas, fuel taxes, medical care and it goes on. In California we have wonderful reserves of natural resources that we cannot use. Our deserts are soon to be polluted with windmills and solar plants.

Four years ago a friend of mine got a great deal on a three bedroom two bath home in a nice neighborhood for $425,000. They had no problem qualifying for the loan with zero down. A year after they refinanced their home for closer to half a million dollars. With the money they cashed out of their home they bought two brand new cars. Fast forward a bit.. Almost a year ago my wife and I decided we were finally ready to buy our first home. We talked to the loan officer and found out that we were qualified for a $350,000 loan. To my wife and I it was obvious that, at our income level, this was more than enough. We wisely bought a two bedroom one bath, half-duplex for $175,000. As much as we wish we could have had a second bathroom and a third bedroom, we didn't want to get in over our heads. Our friends with the half million dollar home and brand new cars are now near bankrupt. The husband lost his job and they got behind on the mortgage. They are upside down in the house AND the cars, so selling is not an option. Now they are trying to find out what kind of bailout help they can get. My one spare bedroom is always open to friends that need help. But why do I have to pay so irresponsible people can keep these beautiful homes in great neighborhoods. I was responsible. I didn't borrow more then I could afford to pay back. These people need to lose their homes because they failed at home ownership. Next time they borrow money they will only borrow what they can afford to pay back. I am sure some people got taken advantage of by the greedy loan officer. What if we limit eligibility to mortgage bailouts to only the people that didn't refinance and pull hundreds of thousands of dollars out of their homes? How many shiny new cars do I have to pay for my neighbors before I get some help?

well I'm just pissed that I didnt pull all kinds of money outta my house and buy a bunch of shiney new jeeps! you know how many jeeps I could have had if I just could have seen the big picture?! there I was, just pluggin away at my job, buyin' new and used jeep parts to keep the ol' Spirit on the trail, scrapin' by, when I should have re-fi'd for big $$ bought three shiney new JK Unlimited 4-door Rubicons with the cash (blue, red and silver) an pissed off the rest of the re-fi on fast food, beer, liftkits & Tyres.... :devil:

to rebuild New Orleans .. Interesting number...

what does it mean?

A. Well... if you are one of the 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, and child) you each get $516,528.

B. Or... if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans , your home gets $1,329,787.

C. Or... if you are a family of four...your family gets $2,066,012.

Imagine, now $700 billion bailing out banks in the US . That's enough to fund complete medical care for every man, woman and child currently alive in the US for 11 years!!

50 billion to bail out the auto industry???
