I've never seen this on MJR before...not sure if it's new or not. I may have just missed the post. But DANG I wonder how it would handle?

That's what I was thinking... it has a toilet, I'd hate to be inside there if it flops. That's why we need to take it out for testing!!

This rig wouldn't be very practical for a day trip or even a weekend trip to someplace like JV. But it would be ideal for a 3-4 day trip across the Mojave road or driving the Alcan Hwy.

It is made by EARTHROAMER not AEV. It has been listed on EBAY at least a dozen times.

New one's cost upwards of $110,000 (including the Jeep). These things are awesome, and are capable of completing the Rubicon Trail. The owner of Overland Journal just took delivery of one and is going to spend 3 months in South American traveling the continent with his wife.

Yeah..., What he said.... 1970 Ford 4x4 F150's can complete the Rubicon. You can pick those up for $1100.

:geek: $$$ + Bad idea = Bad Idea plus two more zeros...

They build one on a Ford Chassis as well.
                          $230,000 :confused2

If I were looking for an expedition vehicle it would be an outfitter popup camper on an american 1 ton SRW 4x4. Brand new would be $60,000 for truck and camper, used for considerably less, and during the week I could take the camper off and use the truck for work.

Our rig has taken Tracy and me to some cool places!

And it will tow the Jeep!

We paid 9 for the truck and 2 for the camper. The truck makes pickups and deliveries during the week.

And it has one of those heater thingys that Nick likes!
