  • Hey Snake Man.

Rat, you out there? You know what kind this is? I was installing my spare D/S when out of the corner of my eye, three feet away this guy came slithering by, I changed my pants and took a picture. No rattle, 3.5' long, this was when he stopped to take a drink.
    Best, Max7

      Red Racer.

Not venomous, but not overly friendly either. They can bite you and break the skin but aside from that not much to worry about.

They eat lizards, snakes, mice, birds etc...

I found a website with info on snakes of Southern California. Here's the page on the Red Racer, aka Red Coachwhip:

If you don't like the way I drive, stay out of the bushes!

No, it's the other way around. Chickens taste like snake!

Check out this guy I saw laying ACROSS my road. Like almost all the way across it! I think he's a Gopher snake.

That looks like a San Diego Gopher. Cool, he's pretty big. They get up to 7 feet. Nice find!

                        Kurt,

A little charcoal BBQ, some teriyaki sauce, some soaked bamboo sticks, and you have Yaki Tori, just like the Sushi Bar. I've been told that tastes great after Jeeping!
