So I ordered some stuff thru Quadratec over the weekend . . . I was pretty hesitant to do so after my last experience with them, but decided to give them another shot as I couldn't find another company that had both things I needed. I got the email today and it looks like the Skid Row Engine skid I'd ordered is on back order. Any ideas how long it will take and would I be better off just cancelling the order and trying to find it elsewhere in stock?

I've placed several orders with Quadratec over the years. Out of all those orders... 1 arrived on time without any backorder. I was shocked and astonished. I wanted to write them a thank you letter until I came to my senses."The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."

why skid row for the engine skid? Nth is nice, compact and inexpensive.
But to answer you're question, beats me. I'm surprised that it was on backorder, maybe they're cutting back on items they keep in stock? If you call and talk to some one, make sure its Rob. Not sure his extention, but he's done several MJR members good in the past (myself included).

Dude I've gone back and forth between the SkidRow Engine and the Nth Oil for over a month. I was just about to pull the trigger on the Nth and then heard about someone busting up their trans housing and it pushed me the other direction . . . I like the design of the Nth more, but the engine skid just seems to cover everthing. That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.

How much?
Is it in stock?
When will I get it?
Your headaches are over if you ask these questions.

I know, I know . . . I got sucked into the world wide web as everybody else seems to be closed on Sundays . . . I wanted to get the ball rolling on the bushings, seeing that it doesn't appear as if you can just buy a set from Full Traction. That and I needed to pull the trigger on the skid . . . really want to get some protection before I head up to Big Bear and want to do that soon. That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
