Anyone know of a good video capture program (XP PRO) that works with youtube, dvd and so on? Freeware is best.

I did it the easy way. I bought a DVD burner online($39) and it came with Nero 8 for freeeeezies! I tried the freebies from download.com and they weren't all that great. If all you're looking for is vidcap, one of them might work but the free no-name ones really suck for editing and making DVDs and things like that.

Then you can do what you please with them.

I prefer http://vixy.net/ because you can not only grab the horrible FLV, but convert it to other formats like AVI/MPEG which I much prefer to crap FLV.

Cool thanx,... thats one thing I forgot to mention how to convert the flv files as they are junk and then some. Now if i can grab clips from DVD'S and then save them in avi or mpeg format etc,...ANY IDEAS...?...MATT
