I have a little of everything around my garage. My absolute favorite is this stupid little Kragen tool chest. It's a little plastic briefcase looking thing that has molded holders for something like 75 different items. Don't get me wrong, the tools are crappy but they're all right there and it's portable. Metric on one side, standard on the other. I use that set way more than my fancy Craftsman setup.

cool i use my china tools a lot also, in case it breaks it is trash. the snap-on guy doesnt come buy often. and i cant go to sears without buying a lot.
Best tools i have is my set of ratcheting wrenches. Damn, things would be a lot harder without those things. It's always like "hey gimmie at wrench, no a ratching one!"

I need a good set of ratcheting wrenches... I'm just too cheap. Every time I go to Sears I look to see if they're in my cheapskate price range. So far, they haven't been. I'll stick with my craftsman (and china) regular wrenches until I win the lotto, or get them as a gift.
If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

Hahah hell yeah, theyre way too expensive. I got mine as a gift
Get your racheting wrenches at Harbor Freight Tools.
Unless you use them for a living, HFT tools seem to work fine for me. And they are cheap. (I know some of you will object to buying from China)
Here's what I have bought in the last few years:
Metric/SAE socket set
Metric/SAE Wrench set
Racheting wrench set
1/2" drive Torx set
1/2" drive allen wrench set (perfect for 4.2L valve covers)
Hi-lift jack
Tie down straps

I have a set of very old 3/4 inch drive sockets. The metal box is broken and the breaker bar is missing. I found a new box from Grainger that would hold everything, $20.00. I looked at Harbor fruit and I can buy the whole 3/4 drive set with a ratchet and extensions and basically the same socket sizes for .......$40.00 If I used them everyday I may not buy HF. They have good stuff and they have junk. You have to know what you can buy from them and what not to buy.
my fav tool is this little pokey thingy..its a craftsman screw driver, but its like bent on the end and has a v cut in it. it works perfectly for interior clips, and to wedge under a washer to apply upwards force when your tightening, and need to hold the bottom thing up, because its so low profile. or my 21 inch 2 1/2 ton jack that extends to full hight in 2 pumps. also i just got a 101 peice airtool set, air drill, die grinder, air ratchet and impact gun, with atachments and a tire inflator and a blowgun. 80 bucks at costco.
