It's kinda strange, but many of the same videos show up when you search for "veterans against mccain". I'm starting to get the idea that even if there is wide support for McCain from our active duty military and veterans as he claims, there is at the very least a vocal and active group of veterans against him.

Keep in mind that that graph only shows the top 5 contributors per candidate, and if you drill down into the details, those bankers gave MORE money to Hilary ($5.8M), Barack ($5.3M) and to Mitt ($4.1M) than they did to John ($2.1M). Goldman Sachs, for example, gave more than $400K each to Hilary and Barack, $200K to Mitt and only $85K to John. It appears that more bankers favor a Democrat than favor John McCain.

Thanks Russ. I guess I was looking at it relative to the other Republican candidates. I'm not a socialist, so I've given up even wasting my time talking about the Dems. But it may be appropriate that the title of the thread is "the next president"... I think there are too many people tired of the war to elect another pro-war Republican. It is interesting to note that the "top tier" candidates did all get a good chunk of change from lobbyists, bankers, and lawyers. It's particularly interesting that they gave much more to Mitt, given that he was marketed by the media as the "conservative" alternative to McCain.
