    not any more! i finally finished rebuilding a longblock i got over a year ago and got it installed a week or so ago, and it (finally) runs (again)!!!!

    i even figured out that pesky "shuts off when you hit a bump" problem from a few days ago. hint: reconnect ALL of your grounds when you swap engines

    compression is 150 psi on all cylinders except one, which is 160 psi

    2 more things to do:
    1. get it smogged within the next month, since registration's due
    2. get a weekend day off to go wheeling

    downside is, it's no longer a stroker

      So you bought a fuel pump for no reason???

        the grounds that bolt to the same stud as the negative battery cable (rear pass. side of the head). I did the neg. cable, but not the other ones.

        and i can return the fuel pump
