This guy's got some nerve calling himself an American. Maybe if he was just a civilian at a game I could excuse him (I said maybe) but to run for our country's highest office, and to act that way? I say throw him out of the government altogether. And any other politician that thinks he's better than this country.

I'm almost certain it is, but that doesn't lessen the fact that he did that. It's funny; this news story has gotten buried just in the last few hours. Hmmmm... Freakin politicians. I'm gonna run for president. Compared to what we have in there now, and what our choices are for the next one, I can't be that bad. I think my platform will be "a bottle of Patron in every cupboard"...

I just spent some time looking at his web site. Its automatic, this guy has my vote already. He is pro gun rights and he has the best plan for illegal aliens yet. As near as I can see this man wants to give America back to Americans.

Not photoshopped. But I bet he'll remember to put his hand over his heart for the anthem from now on. If this is how one decides for whom to vote, it's a pretty weak argument. I'd rather dig through his senate voting record to see what he *really* thinks about the issues.

I totally agree with you, we have to know what the candidate is about and what his platform is, and vote accordingly. When a man runs for the highest office in this land, he needs to think about his image every minute of the day because he is as high profile as it gets. If he misses the little nuances that make the everyday news, what else might he be missing. And on top of that, he's bringing a very personal religious agenda with him that most Americans aren't going to agree with. And, how many politicians have you personally voted for that actually delivered on thier promises? If Mr. Obama can't come through on something as simple, and for most Americans I know, automatic, as showing our Flag and our country the respect that its due, he needs to go elsewhere and run for some other office with a little less visibility.
