Installing a Pl259 connector can be tricky. If not done properly, bad things can happen! Here's a really simple method for installing a PL 259 connector:

That is pretty much how I do it (my father taught me over 30 years ago) but with an exception. As with any wire you are going to solder you tin it first so you get a proper connection. It also helps prevent a cold solder joint. Either way,..thanks for posting the tutorial.
