  • Historic Ships Ham Radio Event JUNE 4TH AND 5TH 2011

There is a special operating event the weekend of June 4th and 5th. For those two days, we hams will have the opportunity to speak with amateur radio operators who have set up their stations near or aboard a wide array of historic U.S. Navy vessels around the country as well as at other ships around the world. This event is sponsored each year by the Battleship New Jersey Amateur Radio Society, NJ2BB. The purpose—besides having a great time and giving visitors to those historic ships a glimpse of amateur radio—is to honor the brave men who served aboard the vessels and to call attention to the museums. These ships and clubs can be contacted on HF 20 meters and more......MATT
PS> I have already worked quite a few of these stations today.

Sounds awesome. I wish I had more money for radios. Still working on the yard and plenty of other things taking my money!
If we aren't supposed to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?
