Trouble hitting a 440 repeater

Hey guys,

Roger wants to try talking on 448.900- PL 162.2 this evening. When I programmed the 2 meter frequencies into my radio, I followed the instructions perfectly and made contact. Now when I try to do the same for 440, I am having trouble setting the PL. Instead of letting me choose a frequency it displays "CH."

Does 440 work differently? Or does it use DCS maybe?

(I don't have the programming software with me, it's on Ricks computer, so I'm programming it manually.)

Ah ok, I got it. CTCSS was off. I believe it's the default for each band.
