I am on my third GPS
I started with a Garmin, bought a dual mode Magelian, which I still love even though the maps are years out of date, and then got a Garmin 500.
It has both offroad and onroad maps on the same place, much unlike the Magellian which you had to switch for.
Anyway I have tops and stuff on the same page. and auto tracking.
I bought it at the years end, I always do that with electronics as I get stuff for less 1/2 price and face it guys, no matter how soon we buy electronics in 2 months it is old news. I got a free updatre in maps to current and now do not need to switch back and forth between offroad and onroad.
So, being a cheap bastard, I am satisfied, but reading the reviews, I will follow till I decide to upgrade, but how current is correct? I mean when do we stop? when each tire turn is recoreded?
      censored for having an opinion
