I used to live up on Lupine ave, across from the old lodge and post office. Spent many summers there in the early to mid sixties, before it was discovered. We used to have teen dances at the community center, and ski up on the bowl. Remember the old rope tows?
WOW, those would build up your arms and hands if someone fell on the way up. and you had to hold on till they were up.
Do you remember MRS Teeter?
She ran the post office from curly's hamburger place, and Dorrie Fox was the cutest girl up there. Her family owned the lumber yard, and worked the snow bowl.
MRS Reynolds ran the realty, and her son ran the gas station and tow.
