Today I tried a few random shots with the 70-200 and most came out ok (<--- C&C welcome). It is nice when the subject is not moving. 
On the one below, for some reason the grasshopper's head would not come into focus. It took me several tries to even get the AF to work this close, time to get a macro lens I guess.
Time to get LR4 to crop the little birdie.
