  • Cedar Creek Falls

Mike, Kurt, Myself and the girls decide to go check out the “Super awesome hiking trail” that brokenujoint posted in the Off Topic Section. Got to say other than half of SDSU being there it is well worth the hike. The 4.5 mile round trip is quite the work out especially the return trip which is all up hill.

Took my new 12-60mm 2.8 lens with me.
We stopped to get some shots of Mildred Falls before heading to the trail head of Cedar Creek Falls.

There was lots of color. Spring is here.

    On the trail.

    Cedar Creek Falls

The base of the falls was pretty crowded so we found our own little piece of paradise.

Our new friend we found swimming with us.

    The rest.
    Check out .

Cedar Creek Falls is nothing like I expected. It never ceases to amaze me that sights like this exist within driving distance of my house. Thanks for posting this place up Kevin.
Another great day spent with really cool people.

Like Chuck said, lots of color
