Hey all. Photography has been a hobby of mine since the mid 80's when I got my first 35mm film camera. I went digital a couple of years ago after a long break away from photography and started freelancing and I shoot boxing/MMA for a couple of wire services. I'll share some stuff that I have shot. I love shooting different events and even covered Election Central here in my city.

January 18, 2008 - San Diego, CA - USA - Battle Across the Border featured some of the best Mexican and US amateur boxers around. Mexico went on to win 8 of the 11 bouts with a few of bouts being controversial. The first bout featured Luis Yanez who was in fact the only US boxer on the card who has already qualified for the Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Visiting celebrities on hand for the evening were former heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield and Mexico's boxing great (now retired) Erik Morales.
January 18, 2008 - San Diego, CA - USA - Battle Across the Border featured some of the best Mexican and US amateur boxers around. Mexico went on to win 8 of the 11 bouts with a few of bouts being controversial. The first bout featured Luis Yanez who was in fact the only US boxer on the card who has already qualified for the Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Visiting celebrities on hand for the evening were former heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield and Mexico's boxing great (now retired) Erik Morales.
