  • Lower control arm removal question

I'm swapping out front LCA's on my 2000 TJ. The driver side LCA front bolt will not pull out. It hits the diff housing. How in the heck is it removed without cutting it off? Or is cutting it off the answer? I'd then have to go buy another one from the dealer and install it from the outside in instead of inside out. If cutting it is the answer, how in the hell did it get in there from the factory? Unless it was installed prior to installing the front axle housing?

Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

I dont see how anyone could get it in there in the first place. Just try to "work it out." Get the bolt out as far as you can and start pulling down on it. Maybe introduce a screwdriver and a hammer to the mix, insert the screwdriver from the other side of the hole. Good luck!

    Sawsall works good too!!
